This program fosters a sustainable and responsible future by integrating ethical, environmentally conscious, and socially responsible practices into every facet of our operations, creating lasting value for our providers, suppliers, communities, and the planet. Supplier diversity is a part of this initiative and supports the growth of diverse businesses through collaboration, mentoring, and programs that promote economic sustainability within our communities. We work with more than 150 certified, diverse suppliers and over 100,000 healthcare providers nationwide.

A diverse supplier is an enterprise that’s at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by a person or people of a diverse background (minority, woman, LGBT, disabled, Veteran, etc.).
Providers can identify opportunities to collaborate with diverse suppliers through these resources:
- Vizient Catalog – contains details about active Vizient product and service contract.
- Supplier Connection – Find local diverse suppliers in your geographic area or search for a supplier in a particular product category through the Supplier Connection platform.
- Register for the program using the Supplier Diversity portal.
- Review the bidding system and opportunities to determine if Vizient is a good fit for your organization.
