ENFit® Enteral Feeding Products: Patient Safety, GEDSA Conversion Schedule, and Implementation Best Practice

Access the webinar recording focused on ENFit® enteral feeding products conversion. In the recording, experts provide information on the updated GEDSA conversion schedule and share insights on the benefits of ENFit® connectors. The webinar recording also includes a successful ENFit® implementation best practice from Texas Children’s Hospital that was implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ENFit® connectors were developed to reduce the likelihood of misconnections or accidental disconnection of enteral feeding products by creating a unique design that does not allow connectivity with other medical device connectors. The Global Enteral Devices Supplier Association (GEDSA) released an updated production phase-out with the dates of July 1, 2021 for legacy feeding tubes and cross application adaptors, and January 1, 2022 for transition sets and adaptors.

In addition to the webinar recording, you can also download the webinar slides which include our expert panel presentations from GEDSA, ISMP, and Texas Children’s Hospital.
