Julie Cerese leads the Member Networks and Performance Management Programs including the Patient Safety Organization, Nurse Residency Program and Accreditation consulting service at Vizient. In this role she provides leadership for the members’ experience in driving cost, quality and market performance through these subscription and programmatic offerings. 
Prior to this, Julie led the University HealthSystem Consortium’s extensive performance improvement products and services. She oversaw its Intelligence™ suite of performance improvement platforms, comprehensive databases, informatics, analytics, quality research and nursing leadership activities. Julie also provided direction during the creation of the Quality and Accountability Study, which is the basis for the nationally recognized Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD, Quality Leadership Award, presented by Vizient to the top-performing academic medical centers each year and now to three other client cohorts. 
Julie’s substantial knowledge of clinical quality improvement is supplemented by her previous role as director of quality and infection control at Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she leveraged her clinical quality improvement experience. Prior to that, she served as senior director of University HealthSystem Consortium’s clinical process improvement area. 
Julie holds a doctorate in interprofessional education along with a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Loyola University Chicago Niehoff School of Nursing. In addition, she is the author of many journal articles on quality, performance improvement and clinical topics.

Brian Hardy provides direction and support for advisory work related to ambulatory and 340B pharmacy. He and his team help healthcare organizations identify opportunities for implementing or expanding outpatient retail ambulatory, central fill and/or home delivery and specialty pharmacy operations.
In addition, his team supports clients in ensuring their 340B program processes and procedures meet or exceed all federal guidelines under HRSA guidance, identifying opportunities to optimize their 340B program. With over 28 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Brian's expertise spans multiple retail and ambulatory pharmacy market segments.
Prior to joining Vizient, Brian was with Intermountain Healthcare, where he created the vision and strategy for their central fill, home delivery and specialty pharmacy fulfillment initiatives. He is a member of the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs, Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy and the National Community Pharmacists Association.
Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the Saint Louis College of Pharmacy and a master’s degree in business administration and healthcare administration from Regis University.

David Levine MD oversees the direction of Vizient’s data and digital strategy and represents Vizient nationally as a thought leader on topics such as performance improvement, analytics, and AI, interfacing with clinical and operational C- suite leaders in major health systems across the U.S.
Data and analytics are the foundation for Vizient’s software as a service offerings, including benchmarked and risk-adjusted comparative insights across quality, operations, pharmacy, spend management and market. Prior to his CMO role, David managed analytics across the enterprise including data operations, insights, science and governance. He currently serves as an expert for the Vizient council of chief medical and quality officers for academic medical centers.
David joined Vizient in 2010 after serving as medical director of the emergency department at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago for over seven years. He practiced emergency medicine for over 20 years. He is a member of several national expert panels addressing metrics and quality including several CMS Technical Expert Panels.
David earned his medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and did his Emergency Medicine Residency at Boston City Hospital where he was chief resident. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan.

With a health care career spanning more than 30 years, Jim Reilly has extensive experience in healthcare consulting, analytics and relationship management with hospitals, health systems and physician practices nationwide. His experience includes hospital/physician alignment, value-based care initiatives, strategic planning and partnerships, cost containment, retreat facilitation, new service development and financial analysis.
Prior to joining Vizient, Jim was a founder of TRG Health Care Solutions, a hospital/physician alignment and value-based care company he led for 14 years. Previous to TRG, Reilly led the healthcare consulting division for GE Medical Systems with more than 150 consultants. He has led more than 400 projects during his consulting career with a proven track record in physician relations, project management, data analysis, communications, team building and financial analysis.
Jim is a national speaker and presents to organizations such as Vizient C-suite Networks, Health Leaders, Health Insights, American College of Cardiovascular Administrators (ACCA), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), American Medical Group Association (AMGA), Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) and Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS).
Jim received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Colorado in Boulder and lives in Denver.
